What changes in the skeleton have allowed amphibians to move on land?

Amphibians, leaving the aquatic habitat and starting to lead a terrestrial lifestyle, gradually changed. Their skeleton has undergone significant changes in comparison with aquatic inhabitants. Naturally, since other laws of physics operate on earth, the skeleton also changed accordingly. Let’s consider in more detail: the skull is movably articulated with the spine, so that the head becomes movable. For ease of movement, the number of spine sections has increased. They can be divided into cervical, trunk, sacral, and caudal. The shoulder and pelvic girdles have become pronounced. To move the body, the paired front and rear limbs were activated. There were joints connecting the bones of the limbs. For the distribution of body weight and ease of walking, five-fingered hands and feet serve as ground for support and repulsion from the ground when walking and jumping.
