Christianity led to the fact that Latin became an international language, there were numerous monasteries and clergy. For example, in Ancient Rus Christianity was adopted in 988, and 70 years later there was already a code of laws, a metropolitan from the Russians, stone churches. Christianity contributed to the emergence of educated people who knew Greek and Latin, as well as to the emergence of craftsmen and architects who built stone temples. Their construction contributed to the development of crafts – icon painting, mosaics, metal processing and jewelry.
