Scientists supporters of the evolutionary theory of the appearance of man believe that the ancestors of modern humans appeared in the forest-steppe (savannah) of the African continent. This theory is based on the very ancient human remains found in Kenya. Hot climate, deforestation due to drought and forced the ancestors of people to descend from the trees to the ground. And the tall grass became an excuse for them to stand on two legs from all fours, which improved their view. So they could find prey in the grass, see and escape from the predator.
