What continents wash the Indian Ocean?

The Indian Ocean has a coastline with four continents. In the southeast, the ocean reaches the Australian shores. In the extreme south, it borders on the icy Antarctic shores. Asia is in the north of the ocean and Africa is in the west. This ocean plays an extremely important role in the life of the population of the coastal zones, since here, since the sixteenth century, there are trade sea routes connecting Asian countries with European ones. Also, its waters are rich in fish, and most of the shores are suitable for the development of tourism.
