What contradictions do you think existed within the Resistance movement in European countries?

During the Second World War, there were ideological differences in the Resistance movement. In a number of occupied states, some of the leaders of the Resistance movement were guided by the emigre governments, for example, in Poland and Yugoslavia. These governments were located in London. Another part of the resistance focused on the ideas of socialism and the USSR. For example, Ludov’s Guard in Poland and Tito’s partisans in Yugoslavia. In Poland, the Home Army was subordinate to him, and in Yugoslavia – the Chetniks. The largest action of the Home Army was the Warsaw Uprising in August 1944. Similar disagreements existed in Greece, where by the fall of 1944 more than 2/3 of the country had been liberated by partisans from the left camp, but during the subsequent Civil War they were defeated.
