What contributed to the Nazis coming to power in Germany?

There were two main reasons for this:

1) The so-called “national humiliation of Germany”, from which 1/3 of the territory was torn away and which the victors “named” the main culprit in the outbreak of the First World War.

2) The global economic crisis, which hit Germany harder than many other countries, as Germany continued to pay reparations to the winners of the First World War.

The German people, suffering from resentment, willingly supported Hitler with his promises to restore Germany’s greatness.
