What contributed to the unification of the Arab tribes?

The main factor that in a short period of time most of the Arab tribes were united was the fact that with the advent of the Prophet Muhammad, the once warring tribes that fought internecine wars received a common goal, which was the Holy War – Jihad.
It was based on the extermination of infidels, people believing in another religion, as well as the fact that all Arab tribes received a single religion – Islam.
Subsequently, a huge state called the Arab Caliphate was formed.
