What could be called the farmers in ancient Egypt?

For many years, farmers in all countries had one name – feudal lord.

A feudal lord is the owner of land with a dependent population, that is, with feuds (working people).

The income from the land of the feudal lords usually went to feasts and hunting, later a special code of honor was developed, which applied exclusively to the feudal lords. The code specified the rules of conduct, duties, restrictions, etc.

Despite the ostentatious generosity, the feudal lords always looked down on the peasants, who in their eyes were considered ignoble, therefore they could subject them to torture, which characterizes them as representatives of the class in Egypt that watched over the slaves and flogged in case of disobedience.
