What could be the consequences of the penetration of the virus on the cell?

Many cells have special organelles that perform protective functions. In eukaryotes, these are lysosomes. They attack various particles and viruses that enter the cell. But not all cells have these organelles in their structure, and they cannot always cope with viruses. When viruses enter the cell, they begin their vital activity. They use substances that the cell needs, multiply and secrete various substances into the cytoplasm. This destroys the cell and ultimately simply dies.
