During the period of its existence (20-7 centuries BC) Assyria was able to conquer many tribes and peoples, in connection with which a large empire arose with its center in the city of Nineveh. The conquered states included: Egypt, Babylon, Phenicia, Palestine, Syria and others.

The Persian Empire emerged in the 6th century BC. and was able to exist for about 300 years. During this period, the state turned into a huge empire from the Aegean Sea to the Indus River.
