What departments does the body of a spider and a scorpion consist of?

The body structure of a spider and a scorpion is the same. Both arthropods are composed of the cephalothorax and abdomen. In a spider, these two parts are connected by a stem. In a scorpion, the structure of the abdomen is more complex. It has an elongated shape and consists of two sections – the mesosome (the body of a scorpion) and the metasome (the tail of a scorpion), which has the shape of a tail and consists of 5 members. The entire body of a scorpion is covered with a chitinous substance that secretes a hypodermic layer under the shell itself. Both of these representatives of the animal kingdom are a type of arthropod from the arachnid class.
