What did the Czech Republic and Poland have in common in development?

1. The territory of these states was not part of the Roman Empire or Byzantium (V century) during antiquity, therefore, there was no ancient heritage, for example, bridges, roads, aqueducts, cities.

2. Statehood appeared in the last period of the early Middle Ages. IX century in the Czech Republic and X century in Poland.

3. Both states became Christian, there was no influence of Islam at all (in this they differed at that time from Sicily, Spain, the south of France). They adopted Christianity from Rome, not from Byzantium.

4. Universities appeared in the XIV century, printing houses in the XV, this is before Russia, for example.
