What did the Neanderthals and Cro-Magnon look like?

Both Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon are representatives of the genus “Homo”, ie. people. Neanderthals lived earlier than Cro-Magnons, they are less like modern people. They were distinguished by their short stature, stocky build. The Neanderthal’s brain was not too big, so neither was the skull. In shape, the Neanderthal skull was extended backward. They had rather prominent brow ridges and large teeth. The chin was small and sloping. The Cro-Magnons lived with the Neanderthals for a certain period of time. It is the Cro-Magnons who are the first representatives of modern man. If you look at the image of Cro-Magnons in textbooks or reference books, you can conclude that they look almost the same as modern people.
