What did the Nile give Egypt? How did the resulting form of government depend on the river?

The Nile can be considered a gift from nature for Ancient Egypt. The floods of this river, after it returned to the channel, brought a fertile layer or (from this came the self-designation of the country by the Egyptians – black land). Thus, the Nile gave Egypt to produce agricultural products. And in order to cultivate this land and receive crops, a lot of labor was required, which could only be organized by tough methods. For this, a control system was formed with nomes and nobles over whom the pharaoh stood.
