The second front, which the Soviet Union so expected from anti-fascist Europe, would have been support in the Great Patriotic War against Germany. He had to divert significant enemy forces. However, the second front was never opened either in 1941, when the SS suffered defeats one after another, or in 1942, the so-called turning point of the war.
