The civilizations of the Ancient East, first of all, were famous for their tradition. Everything that corresponded to the usual way of life was perceived by residents as positive. A separate niche in the value system was occupied by the ruler (king, pharaoh, emperor, etc.), since he was practically deified and considered an ideal person. Religion was also important to ancient Eastern people, as they believed that all life was ruled by the will of the gods. That is why all Eastern civilizations left behind a developed mythology.
