What did the Phoenicians do?

Phoenicians lived in what is now Lebanon and western Syria. Classes in the II-I millennium BC they had these:

Trade. The main occupation due to the specifics of the civilization, it was not agricultural like Babylon or Egypt.
Craft. They learned how to make purple paints and glass, and also built ships, made products from metal and wood (there was enough of it, the cedar is still depicted on the flag of Lebanon).
Long sea voyages and the creation of colonies. They were the first to go on ships from the Mediterranean to the ocean. They founded many colonies, from Cyprus to the south of Spain.
