What did the USSR and Germany agree on by signing the Non-Aggression Pact and secret protocols to it?

They openly agreed that they would not attack each other for a certain time and at the same time would provide each other with services in terms of various supplies of raw materials, resources, and so on. At the same time, there were also secret protocols that assumed the division of spheres of influence in Eastern Europe between the two states that signed the treaty. Thus, there was serious evidence that the USSR entered the war earlier than it later said (1939 instead of 1941).
