What distinguishes modern man from primitive?

Over a long period of time, mankind has overcome several stages of development. Modern man is colossally different from primitive. Primitive people lived in traditional tribal or neighborhood communities. They were engaged in subsistence farming and were careful with nature. Also, primitive people had undeveloped ideas about the world and a pagan religion. Modern man has reached a new level of development. He improves culture, science, production. A market has appeared in the world, and most of the states have moved to the industrial level.
