What do I need physics for?

Having studied physics, you will have an idea of mechanical, thermal, electromagnetic and other phenomena, which will be useful to you even when cooking or replacing a light bulb. Or maybe you will repair the wiring of the house, or insulate the walls in the apartment. You will know explanations for various natural phenomena, for example, that two leaves moistened with water stick together due to the mutual attraction of molecules. You will be able to use the knowledge gained for work, for example, as a designer, who must know and understand the structure of the product.

Physics is the science of the environment. Everything that surrounds us is either physics or chemistry. Knowledge of physical processes will help to properly repair the chair, reduce the noise level in the apartment, teach you how to cool it without installing an air conditioner, and much more.

Knowledge of the laws of physics helps to create such a design for a building, thanks to which it will reliably stand on the ground and not fall. Knowledge of natural phenomena allows you to choose building materials that are least susceptible to the harmful effects of heat, light and water. The study of vibration helps to create special structures that are able to withstand natural disasters such as earthquakes and hurricanes.
