What do mosses and ferns have in common? What is the difference?

In mosses and fern-like plants, the common features are that they all reproduce by spores and have two phases of development: gametophyte and sporophyte. They differ in that ferns are vascular plants, and mosses are single-vascular, which is why ferns are much higher than mosses. In ferns, the sporophyte is the main stage of life, while in mosses this is the gametophyte. Ferns have leaves and branches (together they form a vayu), a root system (rhizoids), and mosses have no vegetative organs.
