What do salt and water have in common?

Salt is not water at all. Do salt and water have similarities? The answer is no, of course. Salt draws water – this is true, but this is not a common feature, not similar. Any broth, any water for cooking food needs salt. Water also “pulls” salt too. Eating salt makes you thirsty. But, this, after all, is also not that. That is, perhaps, all the “similarities” of salt and water. These substances are very different and have nothing in common, but salt is found in all types of water. But there is no water in salt.
