What do seeds and spores have in common?

Seeds and spores in plants are used for reproduction. But a spore is one single cell in which there is no embryo of the future plant, a supply of nutrients, therefore, falling into unfavorable conditions, it dies. The advantages of seeds are that they have the embryo of the future plant, a supply of substances and a protective shell. Therefore, the seed can remain dormant for a long time without dying, but under favorable conditions it will germinate very quickly, and the organs of a young plant will form from the embryo.
