What do you see as the pros and cons of the peasant reform?

The advantages of this reform are that serfdom was finally abolished and the peasants received their freedom and the opportunity to work on their land. Thus, we can say that the state has taken a new course in the development of society. On the other hand, the peasant reform was imperfect, and therefore, many peasants were still forced to work out the corvee, since they did not have the opportunity to pay a ransom. This became the reason that the orders of serfdom persisted for some period of time.
