What do you see as the reasons for the Northern War?

By the beginning of the conflict, Russia did not have access to the Baltic Sea, the appearance of which could mean the opening of new trade routes, and hence the development of the economy. Denmark wanted to get some of the Swedish lands. The third participant in the Northern War was actually Poland, ruled by August II, the Saxon monarch concurrently.
