What do you think, was the Athens court an organ of justice? Can it be said that under such a system, the Athenians were insured against judicial errors?

Yes. In the Athenian court, only full-fledged men gathered for discussion. We touched upon questions on all topics related to the state. Each man could express his opinion, which will be heard. When in the end all opinions were expressed, a vote was taken on how best to proceed. But it was passed in secret, so no one could find out who voted for what, and because of this, I think, people were insured against judicial errors.
