What does a hamster eat in the steppe?

The hamster that lives in the steppe is completely different from the one that lives at home. He has small ears and fairly well developed toes. This type of hamsters does not need human help in order to survive. If there are grain fields nearby, then he will eat grain crops, if vegetables – vegetables. But, in order to stock up on food for the winter, hamsters find only grains. They also feed on beetles, parasites and small animals that can be found in the steppe.
