What does the body receive in the process of cellular respiration?

During tissue or cellular respiration, biochemical reactions occur in the cells of organisms. Carbohydrates and amino acids undergo a cumulative oxidation process to produce water and carbon dioxide. As a result of this process, energy is released, which, thanks to the chemical bonds of the body, can be stored. Such energy as a reserve can be used when the body may need it. Thus, in multicellular organisms, cells receive oxygen by releasing carbon dioxide from themselves.
