The priests in Ancient Egypt were the most educated caste of society, therefore they were engaged in:
1. Religious worship. Divine services, funerals – all this was the responsibility of the priest.
2. Education. The priest was also a teacher at the school.
3. Healthcare. The priests performed the role of doctor and pharmacist.
