Manganese can be displaced, from its salts, only by elements that stand in front of it in the series of metal activities:
K + MnCl2 = KCl + Mn; Al + MnCl2 = AlCl3 + Mn.
Metals that come after manganese, in the series of metal activities, do not react with manganese salts:
Fe + МnCl2 – does not react; Zn + МnCl2 – does not react; Ni + MnCl2 – does not react.
