What environment do plants live in?

Most of the plants live in the ground-air environment. To live in this environment, you need to have mechanical tissues that ensure shape retention. In addition, plants need water in addition to carbon dioxide to carry out the process of photosynthesis. Roots from the soil absorb water, but transport requires conductive tissues, which are xylem (vascular vessels) and phloem (sieve tubes).
