What era was it before the industrial revolution?

Before the industrial revolution, which dates back to the 19th century, there was an era of manufacturing, but this mainly concerned the countries of Europe and partly North America of the 18th century, and in the countries of Asia and Africa it was a period of manual labor, much more primitive than in Europe of those years.

In the era of manufactories (XVI-XVIII centuries), the share of the urban population was low, most of them lived in rural areas and the main goal of the economy was to feed themselves. France, the Netherlands, Sweden and England were the major manufacturing centers. They made metal products, weapons, cloth there.
