What events of the XIII-XIV centuries and how exactly do they testify to the strengthening of the king’s power in France?

Philip the Fair is the last French king from the Capetian dynasty. His reign was marked by the strengthening of royal power and the struggle with the Holy See. To strengthen the monarchy, Philip the Fourth took not entirely honest measures:
1. Creation of the General States, consisting of representatives of three estates. At the first meeting, it was decided to strengthen the power of the king and separate the Catholic Church from public affairs.
2. Transfer of the Papal residence to the French city of Avignon. Pope Boniface, hunted by the king, retired to Rome without taking off his papal tiara. But this did not stop the king and Clement the Fifth was elected pope.
3. The arrest and execution of the Master of the Knights Templar. The Knights Templar was founded in the Holy Land during the First Crusade. Over the many years of their existence, the Templars became powerful soldiers of Christ and collected a rich treasury. The riches of the order did not give rest to the king and to fill his own treasury, Philip the Fourth destroyed the Templars.
