A bulb with leaves, buds, stem, adventitious roots on it. They contain nutrients. Examples would be flowers such as tulips or daffodils.
A tuber is a short shoot that contains nutrients. Forms tubers, for example potatoes.
Rhizome, an underground shoot, has leaves in the form of scales, examples of such plants are iris and mint.
