What explains the frog’s inconsistent temperature?

The frog belongs to the class Amphibians. Amphibians are cold-blooded organisms, which means that they are unable to independently regulate their body temperature. Therefore, their body temperature depends on the ambient temperature. This phenomenon is explained by the fact that cold-blooded people have a lower metabolic rate than warm-blooded ones, as well as by the structure of the nervous and circulatory systems.
Frogs increase their body temperature by heating from the sun’s rays, stones heated by the sun, or by working their muscles during active movement.
