What explains the high shedding properties of satin weave fabrics?

Satin fabrics are extraordinarily smooth and silky. This is due to the special type of weaving of threads, in which most of the warp threads come out to the front side, hiding the weft thread under them. This method is called “satin” or “satin”. On a cut of such a fabric, the threads tend to straighten and slip out of the fabric. In more scientific terms, the coefficient of friction of the threads is small due to their smoothness, which leads to less adhesion between them and, accordingly, greater shedding.
