What factor influences the formation of pine crowns?

The formation of the shape of the crown of pines is influenced by lighting, since pine is a light-loving tree. In an open area, the pine tree will have a spreading crown, a curved trunk and many large branches that are lowered almost to the ground. In the forest, pine most often has a small, highly raised crown with small branches and a straight trunk, cleared of twigs, since in conditions of insufficient light, its lower branches die off.
