The following factors influence tourist demand: income of the population, religion (pilgrimage tours, for example, to Jerusalem or Mecca), attractions, infrastructure, the availability of an international airport and a variety of hotels, from cheap to expensive.

The following types of tourism depend on seasonal fluctuations:

Ski. It needs snow, but it can fall late or melt. For example, in Turkey, the snow cover should lie in the ski resorts of Sarikamish and Palandoken.
Beach. The swimming season can be 2-3 months, for example, at the Verkhniy Bor tourist center near Tyumen or in Jurmala, and maybe from May to October, for example, in the resorts of the Mediterranean Sea (Alania, Antalya, Marmaris).
