What factors do you think ensured the rapid economic development of the German Empire?

1. Protestant spirit or (according to M. Weber) the spirit of capitalism. Most Germans, I do not consider the southern lands of Germany, where they professed Catholicism, people adhered to this religious trend. In this regard, the Germans were much more economically mobile and active.
2. The presence on the territory of Germany of a significant amount of resources, which allowed the country, without colonial possessions, to manufacture finished goods on the spot.
3. The presence of a special institute of land self-government, which made it possible to use public funds more efficiently.
