What features of the structure and life indicate that arachnids are predators?

Most arachnids are predators. They are able to create cobwebs from a specially allocated secret – special means for catching insects. This secret is in the body of the spider in a liquid state, but upon contact with air it solidifies, forming strong sticky threads.

Also, spiders have saliva, which is adapted to the external digestion of food that gets caught in the net.
