What forms of states of the ancient world do you know?

The communal form was the initial form of the ancient state. Later, a monarchical form of government appeared. In the ancient East, a military monarchy was spread, the purpose of which was to increase its territories through the conduct of wars. On the territory of Ancient Greece and some coastal territories there were city-states (for example: Athens, Sparta, Tire. Another form is the military-administrative state (they lived by collecting tribute, but without changing the basic ways of life of the occupied territories).
