What fundamental changes took place in the demographic, economic, political and spiritual life of Western Europe

What fundamental changes took place in the demographic, economic, political and spiritual life of Western Europe and the United States during the transition from a traditional society to an industrial society?

The transition from a traditional society to an industrial one took place in the 19th and 20th centuries. In some countries, it was faster, for example, in the Netherlands, France, Great Britain, and in others it was slower, for example, in the southern states of the USA, in southern Italy, Portugal and Spain.

The changes can be noted as follows:

-In the spiritual realm. There are fewer believers, the societies of a number of countries have become almost completely atheistic, for example, the Czech Republic and Sweden. There are fewer superstitions.

-In the political sphere. Absolute and sometimes constitutional monarchy has disappeared in societies. A good example would be France, as well as Germany and Italy, and in Spain the monarchy was restored after Franco.

-In demography. Life expectancy has sharply increased and the birth rate has dropped to the level of 1-2 children per woman, there are more divorces, natural population growth has stopped, and the proportion of old people has increased.

In economics. The standard of living rose sharply, the proportion of the urban population increased, and mass production of cars began in 1908 in the United States.
