What glacial landforms are found in our country?

On the territory of our country in the Quaternary period of the Cenozoic era, two centers of glaciation were formed, from where the glacier “moved” to the south – the Kola Peninsula and the Taimyr Peninsula. The glacier “descended” from the Kola Peninsula four times, from Taimyr three times. This is due to the fact that in those distant times there was more precipitation on the Kola Peninsula and the climate was milder than on Taimyr. On the plains, there are now ozes, “sheep’s foreheads”, kams, lakes of glacial plowing, outwash plains – glacial landforms.
