What glands are endocrine glands?

The endocrine glands have no ducts, and their secretions, which contain hormones, are produced directly into the blood. The endocrine glands include:
– pituitary gland (about 12 hormones);
– pineal gland (melatonin);
– the thyroid gland (thyroxine);
– parathyroid (parathyroid hormone)
– thymus or thymus gland (thymosin);
– adrenal glands (adrenaline).
The intrasecretory function is also performed by the glands of mixed secretion, producing hormones:
– pancreas (insulin, glucagon);
– genital (testosterone, progesterone).
