What glands are found in human skin?

There are special glands in human skin that perform certain functions – these are sebaceous glands and sweat glands. They, in turn, are also subdivided into several glands, each performing its own function. So, the sweat glands perform an excretory function, as well as a protective one (thanks to their work, the body does not overheat, especially during high temperatures). The mammary glands can also be attributed to sweat. The sebaceous glands work by secreting sebum, covering the surface of the skin and thereby protecting the skin from drying out.
