What glands are involved in the humoral regulation of the body’s activity?

There are 3 types of glands:
-The endocrine glands do not have their own ducts and secrete hormones into the blood or lymph. Hormones affect certain cells in the body.
-External secretion glands – have their own ducts and secrete their secretions to the surface or into the body cavity (salivary, sebaceous, sweat, mammary glands, inner walls of the stomach and pulmonary vesicles.
– Glands of mixed secretion – can have ducts and secrete hormones. (Pancreas, sex glands.)
