What goals did the princes, feudal lords, townspeople and peasants achieve in the church reform movement?

The goals of different estates and strata of society in Europe in the movement for church reform were different. The rulers and feudal lords supported him in the long-standing struggle between secular and spiritual power, besides hoping to get huge wealth and lands of churches and monasteries. Common people – townspeople and peasants supported him precisely because of its content – the nationalization of the church, new rules and concepts promoted by the Reformation.
