What goals did the princes, feudal lords, townspeople, and peasants achieve in the Church reform movement?

| The goals of different estates and strata of society in Europe in the movement for church reform were different. The rulers and feudal lords supported him in the long-standing struggle between secular and spiritual power, moreover, hoping to get huge riches and lands of churches and monasteries. Common people – townspeople and peasants supported him precisely because of its content – nationalization of the church, new rules and concepts promoted by the Reformation.
