There were many gods in ancient Egyptian mythology. The most revered of them were: Ra, Set, Anubis, Osiris, Isis, Horus, etc. At the very top of the hierarchy was Ra – this is the sun god, the creator of all life on earth, the patron saint of royal power in Egypt.
