What goods did the merchants export from Spain?

Sheep breeding was developed in Spain, therefore, wool and products from it were exported.

Large cities, namely Seville, Toledo, Cordoba, Granada and Valencia were centers of silk fabrics production, they were also exported. They also exported gloves, brocade, velvet, hats. Silk production has survived since the time when part of Spain belonged to the Arabs.

The climate allowed for high yields of olives and grapes, so Spain exported wines and olive oil. They were supplied to other European countries and to the North American colonies.

Goods from the colonies came to Spain through Seville, and then they were exported to other European countries.
